Not the most eventful week ever by any stretch of the imagination, but a few note-worthy happenings took place.

Donald Trump was in court this week, and he pleaded not guilty to a raft of fairly vague charges.
The charges are Conspiracy to defraud the United States, Conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, Conspiracy against rights, and Obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding.....
Big 🍊 was released on the conditions that he adhere to all federal, state and local laws and avoid discussing the case with any witnesses. The next hearing in the case has been set for 28 August.....

The Cyberspace Administration of China have imposed their new scheme to limit internet and screen time in teenagers and youth 🧒
Under the new laws, teenagers in China can now only use their smartphones for 2 hours per day.
Under 18s are now banned from accessing the internet from 10pm to 6am. Children under 8 are only allowed a maximum of 40 minutes internet time per day, 1 hour maximum for 8 - 16 year olds, and 2 hours maximum for 16 & 17 year olds.
Freaky shit.
Not sure if they can get around this using proxies or not, I'll need to investigate further.
I can see this being introduced worldwide in the near future though, as the War of Information rages on eternally.

Brit PM Rishi Sunak has been challenged to a game of chess by former British girls chess champion Rachel Reeves ♜
The challenge was sparked by rumors that government seem to be trying to boost the profile of the board game, with 100 tables purportedly being installed in public parks and a possible $500,000 funding boost for the English Chess Federation.

The fossilised remains of an ancient beast that patrolled coastal waters 40 million years ago apparently belong to a newly discovered species that is a contender for the heaviest animal ever to have existed on Earth.
The bones of the creature were found in Peru and seem to be whale-like in nature, from what I can gather.
That's all I know currently 🤷♂️

Nasa has detected a signal from the probe Voyager 2 after losing contact with the bloody thing due to some wrong commands being sent.
Right.
They said they have received a ‘Heartbeat’ signal from the probe, now cruising around some 12 billion miles away, which was picked up after flight control mistakenly pointed its antenna away from Earth.

Yoko Ono has finally moved out of the luxury apartment in New York which she shared with John Lennon.
The same one he was shot outside of.
At 90 years old, she's outties to chill on a sweet farm out in the Catskills.
Some are lamenting her exit as the final nail in the coffin of the spirit of Musicians and Art types embodying New York, or something like that.
Lizzo has been accused of bullying and fat-shaming her dancers.
